CODITECT Analysis Runner Script
STATUS: STUB - Not yet implemented VERSION: 0.1.0 (placeholder) AUTHOR: CODITECT Core Team
DESCRIPTION: Unified analysis execution framework that orchestrates multiple code analysis tools (linters, type checkers, security scanners) and aggregates results into a standardized report format.
PURPOSE: - Execute multiple analysis tools in parallel - Aggregate results from diverse tool outputs - Generate unified analysis reports (JSON, HTML, Markdown) - Support CI/CD integration with exit codes - Track analysis metrics over time
EXPECTED INPUTS: --tools : Comma-separated analysis tools to run (eslint, pylint, mypy, bandit, semgrep, etc.) --paths : Paths to analyze (default: current directory) --config : Analysis configuration file (default: .analysis.yml) --output : Output directory for reports --format : Report format (json, html, markdown, sarif) --parallel : Number of parallel tool executions --fail-on : Severity level to fail on (info, warning, error)
EXPECTED OUTPUTS: - analysis-report.json: Aggregated findings with: { "summary": {"total": N, "by_severity": {...}, "by_tool": {...}}, "findings": [{ "tool": "eslint", "rule": "no-unused-vars", "severity": "warning", "file": "src/index.js", "line": 10, "message": "..." }], "metrics": {"duration_ms": N, "files_analyzed": N} }
DEPENDENCIES: - subprocess (stdlib) - for tool execution - concurrent.futures (stdlib) - for parallel execution - pyyaml - for config parsing - sarif-om - for SARIF output generation
IMPLEMENTATION REQUIREMENTS: 1. Tool registry with execution commands and output parsers 2. Parallel execution with resource management 3. Output format normalization across tools 4. Incremental analysis support (only changed files) 5. Baseline management for suppressing known issues 6. Performance metrics collection 7. Cache integration for faster repeated runs
SUPPORTED TOOLS (to implement): Python: pylint, flake8, mypy, bandit, black --check JS/TS: eslint, prettier --check, tsc --noEmit Rust: clippy, cargo fmt --check Generic: semgrep, codeql, trivy
USAGE EXAMPLES: # Run all configured tools python scripts/analysis-runner.py
# Run specific tools
python scripts/analysis-runner.py --tools eslint,pylint,mypy
# Generate HTML report
python scripts/analysis-runner.py --format html --output reports/
# CI mode (fail on errors)
python scripts/analysis-runner.py --fail-on error
RELATED COMMANDS: - /analyze : Code analysis slash command - /lint-docs : Documentation linting
