Manage your CODITECT subscription, view invoices, and update payment information.

Subscription Overview

Viewing Your Subscription

  1. Navigate to Settings → Billing
  2. View your current subscription:

Managing Payment Methods

Add Payment Method

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Payment Methods
  2. Click Add Payment Method
  3. Enter card details or select Google Pay/Apple Pay
  4. Click Add

Supported payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Google Pay
  • Apple Pay
  • Bank transfers (Enterprise only)

Update Default Payment

  1. Go to Payment Methods
  2. Click the menu (⋮) on the card you want as default
  3. Select Set as Default

Remove Payment Method

  1. Go to Payment Methods
  2. Click the menu (⋮) on the card to remove
  3. Select Remove
Active Subscription

You cannot remove your only payment method while you have an active paid subscription.

Invoices

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Invoices
  2. View invoice history:

Update Billing Information

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Billing Info
  2. Update company name, address, tax ID
  3. Click Save Changes

Changes apply to future invoices.

Upgrading & Downgrading

Upgrade Plan

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Upgrade Plan
  3. Select new plan
  4. Review changes
  5. Confirm upgrade

Prorated billing: You'll be charged the prorated difference immediately.

Add Seats

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Add Seats
  3. Enter number of additional seats
  4. Review prorated charges
  5. Confirm

Example: Adding 5 seats mid-cycle:

  • Monthly cost: 5 × $49 = $245
  • Days remaining: 15 of 30
  • Prorated charge: $245 × (15/30) = $122.50

Downgrade Plan

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select lower tier plan
  4. Review changes
  5. Confirm
Downgrade Timing

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access until then.

Remove Seats

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Manage Seats
  2. Reduce seat count
  3. Confirm change

Seat reductions take effect at next billing cycle. Ensure you have fewer active users than the new seat count.

Cancellation

Cancel Subscription

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Select reason (helps us improve)
  4. Choose:
    • End of period: Keep access until current period ends
    • Immediately: Stop access now (partial refund may apply)
  5. Confirm cancellation

What Happens After Cancellation

Reactivate Subscription

Within 30 days of cancellation:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Reactivate
  3. Confirm payment method
  4. Resume service immediately

Payment Issues

Failed Payment

If a payment fails:

  1. Email notification sent with details
  2. 3-day grace period to update payment
  3. Automatic retry after 3 days
  4. Account suspension after 3 failed attempts

Resolving Failed Payments

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Payment Methods
  2. Update or add new payment method
  3. Click Retry Payment on the failed invoice

Request Refund

  1. Contact billing@coditect.ai
  2. Include:
    • Organization ID
    • Invoice number
    • Reason for refund
  3. Response within 2 business days

Enterprise Billing

Custom Contracts

Enterprise customers may have:

  • Annual contracts with custom pricing
  • Volume discounts
  • Custom payment terms (NET 30/60/90)
  • Dedicated billing contact

Purchase Orders

Enterprise customers can use POs:

  1. Send PO to billing@coditect.ai
  2. We'll generate invoice against PO
  3. Pay via bank transfer within terms

Tax Exemption

If your organization is tax-exempt:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Tax Info
  2. Upload tax exemption certificate
  3. Update billing address
  4. Future invoices will be tax-exempt

Billing FAQ

Q: When am I charged? Monthly subscriptions charge on the same day each month. Annual subscriptions charge once per year on your signup anniversary.

Q: Can I change my billing date? Contact support to request a billing date change.

Q: Do you offer discounts for nonprofits/education? Yes! Contact sales@coditect.ai for nonprofit and education pricing.

Q: Is there a free trial? Yes, Pro features include a 14-day free trial. No credit card required.

Q: What currency do you bill in? All prices are in USD. International cards are charged in USD and converted by your bank.
