Manage your CODITECT subscription, view invoices, and update payment information.
Subscription Overview
Viewing Your Subscription
- Navigate to Settings → Billing
- View your current subscription:

Subscription Plans

Managing Payment Methods
Add Payment Method
- Go to Settings → Billing → Payment Methods
- Click Add Payment Method
- Enter card details or select Google Pay/Apple Pay
- Click Add
Supported payment methods:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
- Google Pay
- Apple Pay
- Bank transfers (Enterprise only)
Update Default Payment
- Go to Payment Methods
- Click the menu (⋮) on the card you want as default
- Select Set as Default
Remove Payment Method
- Go to Payment Methods
- Click the menu (⋮) on the card to remove
- Select Remove
You cannot remove your only payment method while you have an active paid subscription.
Invoices
Viewing Invoices
- Go to Settings → Billing → Invoices
- View invoice history:

Update Billing Information
- Go to Settings → Billing → Billing Info
- Update company name, address, tax ID
- Click Save Changes
Changes apply to future invoices.
Upgrading & Downgrading
Upgrade Plan
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Upgrade Plan
- Select new plan
- Review changes
- Confirm upgrade
Prorated billing: You'll be charged the prorated difference immediately.
Add Seats
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Add Seats
- Enter number of additional seats
- Review prorated charges
- Confirm
Example: Adding 5 seats mid-cycle:
- Monthly cost: 5 × $49 = $245
- Days remaining: 15 of 30
- Prorated charge: $245 × (15/30) = $122.50
Downgrade Plan
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Change Plan
- Select lower tier plan
- Review changes
- Confirm
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access until then.
Remove Seats
- Go to Settings → Billing → Manage Seats
- Reduce seat count
- Confirm change
Seat reductions take effect at next billing cycle. Ensure you have fewer active users than the new seat count.
Cancellation
Cancel Subscription
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Select reason (helps us improve)
- Choose:
- End of period: Keep access until current period ends
- Immediately: Stop access now (partial refund may apply)
- Confirm cancellation
What Happens After Cancellation

Reactivate Subscription
Within 30 days of cancellation:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Reactivate
- Confirm payment method
- Resume service immediately
Payment Issues
Failed Payment
If a payment fails:
- Email notification sent with details
- 3-day grace period to update payment
- Automatic retry after 3 days
- Account suspension after 3 failed attempts
Resolving Failed Payments
- Go to Settings → Billing → Payment Methods
- Update or add new payment method
- Click Retry Payment on the failed invoice

Refunds
Refund Policy

Request Refund
- Contact billing@coditect.ai
- Include:
- Organization ID
- Invoice number
- Reason for refund
- Response within 2 business days
Enterprise Billing
Custom Contracts
Enterprise customers may have:
- Annual contracts with custom pricing
- Volume discounts
- Custom payment terms (NET 30/60/90)
- Dedicated billing contact
Purchase Orders
Enterprise customers can use POs:
- Send PO to billing@coditect.ai
- We'll generate invoice against PO
- Pay via bank transfer within terms
Tax Exemption
If your organization is tax-exempt:
- Go to Settings → Billing → Tax Info
- Upload tax exemption certificate
- Update billing address
- Future invoices will be tax-exempt
Billing FAQ
Q: When am I charged? Monthly subscriptions charge on the same day each month. Annual subscriptions charge once per year on your signup anniversary.
Q: Can I change my billing date? Contact support to request a billing date change.
Q: Do you offer discounts for nonprofits/education? Yes! Contact sales@coditect.ai for nonprofit and education pricing.
Q: Is there a free trial? Yes, Pro features include a 14-day free trial. No credit card required.
Q: What currency do you bill in? All prices are in USD. International cards are charged in USD and converted by your bank.
